-It is the boundary above the thermosphere, it is around 500-1,000 km high above ground level

-From 80-85 to over 640 Km. Since temperatures increase with height the temperature reaches up to 1.500˚C but a human would not feel warm due to the extremely low pressures. ( The International Space Station orbits in the Thermopause)
